This is the third day wandering around these trails. As seniors we can only do so many each day. This is our 3rd today and it was a long hike, so many switch backs, we were within 200 ft but then the trail took us out to just over 300 ft to the GZ before another switchback got us back to decreasing our distance to the cache but then the trail still didn't get us close another 150ft through wildness to get to GZ. We are pooped and now we have to get down, more switchbacking. Enough for today, only 3 caches, guess we'll have to come back again to finish up this area. Tftc.

On a fun cache run with my mom this to end the year while the weather is nice! I didn’t realize how few geocaches I found this year! Guess that will be part of my resolutions. Thanks for placing and maintaining this awesome cache for us to find!

Nice hiding spot. I had to scramble to find this one quickly, as a storm was breaking over Herman Peak and the air seemed charged with energy. The cache is in great shape, but the big box could use some more swag. Wish I had brought some along. Quickly signed the log and decided it was a good time to take up the hobby trail-running, at least for the mad dash back to the trailhead.
