The Back-Story:
You have come to Colorado to Pan for Gold. In 1858 gold was being panned in Denver. In this story, you will pan for gold in Colorado Springs.

Location:
You will start out at the Cottonwood Creek Trail just East of Union and South of Woodland Hills Drive.

Time:
This Wherigo Cartridge will probably take you at least 15 minutes, and maybe 30 minutes. You will cover between 1/4 and 1/2 miles linear distance and there is a moderate incline for part of it.

Notes:
While you might be able to do this in the dark, it is inadvisable.
Please watch out for the left-behinds of careless dog walkers along the trail.
You do not have to go down to the stream.

When you are playing the cartridge, you should be able to view the current Task or Tasks on the Game's menu to find out what you need to do next.

During the story, you will pan for gold in a few places. It will take panning quite a few times to get enough gold to move on the the next part of the story. Once you have sold the gold, you will be given the way to complete the cartridge and find the physical cache to sign the paper log. The container is a bigger micro.

Made it through the cartridge, but it appears that there's been significant pruning at the final. Thanks for the little jog, but I wish I could put a smiley on this one!

Also got to the point where the two gold panning areas wouldn't open, couldn't complete the cartridge.

I attempted this one but once I got to the panning areas, the game indicated I was “inside zone” but gave me no options. I finally gave up.

Out geocaching with Hammerhead53. We decided to do a couple of Wherigo caches. The log was full and I put in a new one. We signed it H53 & C58. Thanks for the cache!

After a spot of trying hard not to look crazy or lost while wondering back and forth, I made it to GZ of the cache. Then I had to wander around some more looking for just the right angle to see the cache. Once I found it, I felt silly that it had taken me so long to find the cache. I even had an observer for a while but I have a feeling the cache will stay safe. TFTC

Wow, I took me some doing but I was able to make it to the final. It took me longer than I think it was going to but I get it.

We used 2 different devices (iPhone and iPad) and the cartridge worked flawlessly on both. Walked more than we should have at the beginning until gamma figured out a faster way. Found the container and signed the log. Thanks for the fun Wherigo.
