Been waiting for the roads in this area to open after the Weston Pass fire was contained.
Today was the day, glad I read the logs and went for this one first, it was easier, not easy but easier. Couldn't find the trail at the trail head coordinates we we just went straight up the hill. Just when I thought the worst was over we encountered the last 500 hundred feet. The cache is in good shape, the last log entry was from 2016 by two much fun, same for Nap Time. Once I signed the log headed over to Nap Time and made a quick find. About 1/4 of a mile from the cache we found a faint trail and followed it to the creek and our Jeep. Thanks for the fun.

After being FTF at "Nap Time", we headed up the steep (for me) slope...hubby sprinted up the slope, leaving me in the dust...~sigh~........found the cache easily, rescued the tb...and since there doesn't seem to be a mad dash to come to this cache, we did not leave another tb in it's place, but a couple other items..... had a little snack, and took pics of the Buffalo Peaks, which were being covered in cloud cover, and then headed back down.....going down was much easier and we did it at a slant....wish we had done this one before "Nap Time", as the slope was more gradual...ah well, live and learn.....tftc!

Surprised no one had found this one yet so we went for it today. Found the parking area and started hiking, found a trail which took us most of the way then started heading up the hill and ran into another trail that took us to the cache. There's probably a better way to get up there than the way we took but it was a fun hike on a gorgeous day. FTF at 12:50pm today, left a TB and a coin, signed log, and took some pictures. You are correct, it was a spectacular view! Thanks for placing this cache in such a cool area.
