I wanted to put this in a note so folks don't miss it. I found the container on the ground about 15 feet from GZ. I put in into the root ball of the large fallen tree about waist high with a rock on top to protect it.

Been eyeing this cache for a couple of years but never had the time or energy to try, today was different. Grabbed up geowife and headed for a parking spot that I thought would make the hike shorter and only 120 foot elevation gain. I was wrong, the hike was .6 miles but 453 feet elevation gain, steep for flatlanders who have not acclimated to the elevation yet. The view on top is great and the hike back much easier. TFTF

Roads? We don't need roads! The gates on some of these roads opened a few days ago so I decided to make an early season run to get caches I never seem to have time for in the summer. I was able to park 0.6 mi from the cache and had a nice walk up the hill. A snow squall hit while I was at the cache but it didn't last and the sun was shining again by the time I got back to my car. There is a little snow on the ground still but it was easy enough to stay out of it. TFTC

Wanted to add a pic of the fog too.

Woo Hoo! Just hiked to this one. Was so surprised to see the giant meadow on top! The container is missing it's lid & was pushed far in. I had to use a local TOTT to drag it out. Hopefully it won't go that far again. The last finder must not have had a pen as there are no signatures since 2013 (see pic for my proof of visit). It was drizzling when I started & my boots & shoes are soaked. Squish squish all the way back down now. The top is socked in fog. I've been listening to boom boom music bass all the way up. I keep expecting to run into a party.
