Assistant Stage Manager Audrey Torium has very important jobs to do before each scene during the current production. Before each scene she must ensure that a particular piece of furniture is set, and that one of the actors has a particular prop before entering. From the following information, can you discover the setting of each scene, the piece of furniture and prop for which Audrey is responsible in each?

1 – When entering for Act 1 Scene 1 one of the actors must be carrying a tea-tray, although the scene is not a restaurant.

2 – For the last scene of Act 1 an armchair must be on stage.

3 – A statue must be in place for the scene in the garden, which immediately follows the scene where the vital prop is a newspaper.

4 – The suitcase features in the scene immediately after the drawing room scene and immediately before the one requiring the standard lamp.

5 – The knitting is the prop required for the sitting room scene; the item of furniture for that scene is not a chair.

6 – After making sure the cupboard is set for one scene, Audrey must ensure that one of the actors in it is carrying an umbrella.

I was out and about caching with herndonrd because I make him look good. He typically finds the caches while I look in all the wrong places. This was one of those typical occasions where I read off the description and/or prior logs and he simply ignores me and finds the cache. Hooray! After we did the whole sign and replace thing we celebrated our victory by heading back to the car and driving off to another one. Thanks for the fun hide and for getting me outside on such a beautiful day.

P. S. No animals (humans or otherwise) were harmed in the writing of this log.

I sat down a few months ago and powered my way through solving these puzzles. I solved almost all of the ones on this series. It was disappointing to discover that at least a third of them had been deactivated or archived in a few others were either missing or I was unable to locate them. Luckily I found this one. Tftc!
