MS. Anne wanted to do some walking, and she decided a drive up here was appropriate. After a LONG time on twisty turny Golden Gate Canyon road from Golden, we finally got here.

I didn't park at the closest parking. Made it more of a challenge that way! Quick find.

On a day that was projected to be a scorcher, we decided to head to a higher elevation to escape the heat, walk and cache. This cache came along at the perfect time for us to sit and enjoy a picnic lunch under the pines. We saw only one other person nearby, so felt like we had the place to ourselves. I think this coming weekend it likely to be a different story. Found this one quickly. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log. Thanks -TwoCs- for placing this cache so that we can play! BTW - the high showing on our weather station was 106 degrees, and Denver hit a record high 105 degrees.
