On a day that was projected to be a scorcher, we decided to head to a higher elevation to escape the heat, walk and cache. Golden Gate Canyon State Park was our chosen destination. The cache location escaped us for several minutes as we were distracted by the voles and other rodents that scattered through the grass as we were walking around in it. They were not too happy that we invaded their domain! The cache and contents are in good shape. This was a nice walk from the campground that we wouldn't otherwise have taken. Thanks -TwoCs- for placing this cache so that we can play! Took nothing, left swag, signed log. BTW - the high showing on our weather station was 106 degrees, and Denver hit a record high 105 degrees.
