On a day that was projected to be a scorcher, we decided to head to a higher elevation to escape the heat, walk and cache. Golden Gate Canyon State Park was our chosen destination. There are several big rocks, small rocks, and sticks in the general area and the GPSr wasn't settling in so it took a few minutes to find this one. This was a nice walk from the campground that we wouldn't otherwise have taken. Thanks -TwoCs- for placing this cache so that we can play! Took nothing, left stickers, signed log. BTW - the high showing on our weather station was 106 degrees, and Denver hit a record high 105 degrees.
