This section of the Rock Island Trail has recently been concreted.  It is a beautiful trail and has a lot of bike traffic; perfect for caches so I am placing a few.  I am starting on the west end and going east but you can find them in any order.    I hope you enjoy them.

This is an easy 2 stage multi, with the final around 150 feet from stage 1.

I needed a multi today, and this was conveniently down the trail from a hide that I'm working on (fingers crossed it'll get published by the end of next week..but I digress). So knowing that Trea's hides are both fun and easy (my kind of caches), I had high expectations. Of course by the first waypoint, I discovered the final coordinates and the naming of the cache. The final location was also a good location, not the first area I homed in on, but the second once I expanded the search area a bit. Another fun and cute container too! Thanks for the nice multi and big yellow smiley on my map! Keep calm and cache on!

I (Melissa) am on my annual ladies trip with Nov64, Trea, Tootsie.22, Georeyna, and Berb57.

Today is day 1 of the trip and I am out with my caching buddy Trea picking up some of her caches here in Colorado Spring. We miss her fun containers back in Texas but love seeing she is still placing them here.

We want to thank Trea for placing Slap Happy Multi for us to hunt, find and adding to the smilies on our map!!!

I swung by after work to take a look for this multi. Stage 1 almost stumped me. But I did locate it in short order. I have a feeling that after a couple more finds, the method of attaching the next stage coords is going to fail. It almost fell off when I was entering the next coords into my phone.
Giving this one a favorite point because I've never seen that before. Although I swear I heard someone talking about this style of hide somewhere recently.

My goal for the year was to get my multi count up over 500. I'm still over 50 away from that goal. Maybe it'll happen next year.

I glad to see this still available for FTF this morning, I waited till I had enough light to safely see the trail.

On Saturday I hit my 1,953 FTF milestone and now counting down to 2,000.

I need 47 more and this is a great start.

Thanks for the thrill of the hunt and a cute container to go with it!
