This cache requires a short hike that can take anywhere from 15-45 minutes depending on your physical ability. The scenary is beautiful! At the top of the hike is a large water tank and you can find the cache nearby. DO NOT climb the tank.My philosophy is inspired by the Disney movie "UP." Just like Carl and Ellie would say with a strong thumbs up, "Adventure is out there!" I believe everyday should be made into an adventure, and geocaching is one of the best ways to make that happen!
I've hidden this duct-taped container next to a water tower at the top of this small mountain hike, and hopefully it allows you or you and your family to have an adventure.
There are multiple trails to hike up with, but the one at N 39 24.228' W 107 06.127' is the one I typically use. There is a sign that warns "No motorized vehicles" and I advise sticking to the trails for your own safety. The gravel and rocks can sometimes shift so be careful while hiking.
