Third in the Ute Trail series.
This is where Coffee Pot Road ends. The Ute Trail continues from here, in part along C.R.640; across the Flat Tops in a Northwesterly direction, but it's a very rough road / atv trail.
This cache is placed atop a hill and in a cluster of spruce; at an elevation of 11,000' it's the highest point on this part of the Ute Trail. A view of Bison and Heart Lake, together, can be enjoyed from here.
The walk from the road is moderate but uphill. BYOP.
