Naylor View

Cache is at 11789 feet. You'll be following a trail until the last 300 feet (approx). Bring water. During winter months, it may become covered with snow.
Contents:

The world was built with clay (2 cans of Play-Doh). Architects drew up the designs (5 mechanical pencils) using their mathematical skills (a protractor).

The builders used their tools to form the clay (1 16-piece Hex Key set (SAE/Metric) and 1 5" Vice Wrench). When it was done, the artists got to work (1 Paint Brush). They all stood back to look at their work and decided that it was good. Then they turned on the power to get things moving (1 4-pack AA batteries).

Soon after the machinery was put in motion, men and women began to play (1 superball).

Additional contents, which should not be removed, include: a notebook, a black pen, and a red pen. Also, please leave a pencil or two.

The cache is a standard sized green ammo box. There is parking available at two different locations depending on the abilities of your vehicle (or your desire for a longer hike). The first spot is at N39 36.571 W105 43.089. A little further up the road is a second parking lot at N39 36.389 W105 43.671.

During the winter months, the cache may become covered with snow.

Enjoy the view!

 Hints

When you arrive at the coordinates you should be at the north edge of a rock field. Look for a large square rock whose top is tilted. It is on the eastern edge of this rock in a small cavity.

Took our first drive up Guanella Pass today and found this cache on our side hike to Silver Dollar Lake. Very nice hike, with beautiful views that will take your breath away if the altitude doesn't get to you first!

I hiked up the rockslide to not trample any of the wonderful wildflowers blooming. The pika were not impressed. The cache is in great shape. The view is awesome. TFTC!

What a wonderful place! I am so glad that you put this cache up here! It was a beautiful clear and warm day. I got a great view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. I love an ammo can! And it is all in great shape. I will make this a favorite. Thanks so much for bringing me up to this place! I think the area could use a few more caches, so next time I may bring one up. Thanks again for the cache!

It's quite the terrain up here, but glad for the smiley & the container full of swag. Took a Pokemon card, left a football player figurine. Thanks for the great view & the exercise!

My mother's maiden name was Naylor. The last time I was up here I was snowshoeing and we had to park down on the main road. There is a really big parking lot there now. But today I went for it & took my Santa Fe all the way to the summer trailhead. I don't think a regular car would make it, but maybe...
It was a fantastic day up here. Did get very windy in the open areas-I had to hold onto my visor. The is a steep one getting from the trail to the cache, but I got there. Neat to see an older cache still happy & in place.
