I’m so glad we were able to get this oldie while visiting Breckenridge! We had to pay $7.00 to park nearby, but at least we didn’t have to use a boat to get to the island! A biker went by us telling us we shouldn’t be swimming in the lake. Ha! We found some thing interesting on the walk which you may enjoy seeing too. We left a matchbox Army Jeep for next kid who comes along! Go Army! Thanks for keeping this cache in good shape and active... another favorite point for you!

Great hike over slightly soggy ground since the water is so low. Found with family who came from NY to attend sister’s wedding at Sapphire Point.

Found it. Super excited to trade out some stuff! I am super easy super easy to find once you get to the island. We were lucky, water was so low we could walk across land bridge.

This is my 2nd 2001 CO cache to find this week. Things have changed out here on the peninsula. Closest Parking will cost you $7. I went back up the road & parked outside the FS area & walked the extra 1/2 mile. A bike would have been most useful.

No boat needed today due to the low water level. We walked to this island. TfTF!!!

We rode our bikes from the Peak One campground and were able to cross on foot. Kids enjoyed climbing over all the fallen trees and we spotted the cache no problem.

Replaced cache with 1 gallon plastic jar covered in camo tape. Moved contents and added new log file to cache.

Such a cool place. Camping nearby and took a random hike. Thought we’d see if, by chance, there was a cache nearby. Thanks for the fun!

Logging some finds from a recent trip. Walked across the mud flat from the parking lot to grab this one. Glad to see that the cache container was replaced as it was in poor shape. Thanks for the hide!
