A quick easy cache just off County Road 13 south of Del Norte, CO.
We called this the Mountain Lion Cache because a neighbor of ours spotted a mountain lion here a couple weeks ago. It is within site of our house but on public land. Wave if you see us.

The cache is a 30 cal ammo can hidden to the west of the road. You can park within 100 yards but the walk is all uphill and moderately steep. Watch out for the cactus. This is a quick easy one to hit while you are heading to one of our other caches in the area.

Once I found the right road, this one was pretty easy to find. I did sit in some sap so watch out for that! I filled it with toys since a lot of these ammo can caches are pretty bare. TFTC!

Fun and easy to get to. Watch out for the Yucca!

This was a fun cache to find! Our cords sent us way off to the west to scramble all through the prickly cactus and rocks, although we had been parked right below it all along. Please note that the ammo box is not in the rocks - it's under a tree. We looked for you guys but didn't see a soul! Swag was low but we found a cool Hot Wheels car and left a pirate toy. SL. TFTC!

Breathtaking views! Super excited to find this one after a dnf in the area... Plainly visible from the road but a good amount of work to get to it.

Cache is in good shape with a lot of booty, took some beads and left a vette

Beware the Red ant hills!
