Gina after hiding the cache

Located close the the end of Old Schoolhouse Rd near Del Norte, CO. It is an easy find but you will need a moderately high clearance vehicle for the drive.
This cache is located in a popular local elk hunting area. In the fall if there has been good snow in the high country you will likely see elk. The rest of the year you are likely to see deer, coyotes, antelope, and even the occasional bear. It is a beautiful area any time of the year. Bring a picnic lunch if you like, there are many nice picnic places along the drive.

The road in is not very rough as far a Jeep trails go. We never even used 4 wheel drive. The forest access road that you turn onto off of CR 13 is marked Cedar Springs Road but my GPS identified it as Old Schoolhouse Rd.

The cache is a 50 cal ammo can with lots of the usual trading stuff including a couple coins when it was placed. One of them is the brand new 07 Colorado Geocoin

Second day of the QuadQuest hunt, so we thought we better get this one on the way. It was raining, so we took the truck--bad idea--those roads are pretty rough for a full size diesel. About 3/4 mile before we got there, we decided we could walk faster so we parked it. Got pretty wet, but the fog was really beautiful. Thanks for bringing us here.
