About a mile walk, uphill, steep in places, from Lily Lake parking area to the Jurassic Park climbing area.

Jurassic Park is a well known, heavily used sport climbing area. Many climbing routes, and typically many climbing groups are there. The views and rocks are stupendous. Look down on Lily Lake, look across to Longs Peak, etc.

Because this is a high traffic area, the cache was placed off the main access trail, at the base of a small rock face, and under a large boulder. Peek underneath and you will find!

This cache is dedicated to Bob and Jonathan Siegrist, a father/son climbing team, Jonathan is one of the finest climbers in the world and his dad almost keeps up with him!

More information about the climbs can be found at: www.mountainproject.com/v/jurassic-park---lily-lake/105744337.

My family and I planned on doing an easy hike around the lake since it was the first day of our vacation and we were getting acclimated to the higher elevations. The hike up to this cache wasn't quite the "easy" hike we had originally planned, but the view was great and we got the smiley.

Hiked up to get this cache with my family while we were on vacation. Being from Louisiana, we're not used to the steeper hikes in higher elevations, but we were still able to get the smiley. Great view from GZ!

Found it with beebop99, CodyMan, and my muggle husband while vacationing. That was quite the hike for us Louisiana cachers, but the view was amazing! On the way back down, it started raining and hailing on us (even pea-sizes hail stings!). The double rainbow that resulted from the brief storm was pretty too.

I tried to go after this one last fall, but decided that I shouldn't be up here by myself. So, although I got close to the cache that time, it wasn't really a DNF, more like a DNLE (did not look enough).

This time I teamed up with BugRanger for a real assault on the cache, and once we got close, she spotted it pretty quickly. It's a nice box with some swag, worth the somewhat slide-y climb. The views are excellent, too; mission accomplished and TFTC!

Couldn't find the path up so did some bushwhacking up and made the find. It was quite an experience. Felt a real sense of accomplishment! TFTC
