Button Rock is a walk-in only area about seven miles west of Lyons. To get there go north on Hwy 36 to Boulder County Road 80 until you get to the parking area/entrance gate. The round trip hike will be about five miles with mild elevation gains until you reach the dam. Then a short but steep incline will get you to the top of the dam and the views of the lake. A short walk on a side trail will put you within a few feet of the cache.

You will be looking for a decon container. It has a log book and pencil but you may want to bring your own writting utensil just in case. Only very small trades are possible.

Nice hike in the mountains. We headed up the Old Sleepy Lion Trail, and made a loop to pick this up on the way out via the current trailhead.

Found easily, and the coordinates seemed pretty accurate.

Hint was a little tricky to figure out, but ended up making sense once you look at things the right way. TFTC! Great location!

Visiting from Minneapolis and stopped in for a hike on the way to Boulder. Thanks for the hide! Found this one just before the skies opened up.

My GPSr seemed to want me on the wrong side of the path, but my geo-sense led me to this cache. Container is in good shape and the contents are dry. Thanks.

We searched for this one for a while, it didn't help that I wasn't 100% sure what a decongestant canister looked like! There were several big rocks by the trail but we searched the base of the largest one! No luck, maybe we will try again soon

We walked right by this area and when I finally turned my GPS on we ended up taking a much harder route to get right back where we came from. So many places to look here...GPS kept bringing me back to one place but never came up with it. Just started looking around and was able to spot it soon after that. Thanks for the hide SL

Nabbed this while my girlfriend wandered down to the reservoir edge to investigate the driftwood. Took the geocoin and will move it on.

I popped up the trail while the others started back to the cars. I wanted to get a look at the reservoir. After huffing up several switchbacks, I finally got up to the water level. Great spot for a cache! My dog went for a drip while I signed the log. Thanks!

The Anthem Ranch Hiking Club enjoyed a beautiful day hiking up to the Ralph Price Reservoir. We decided to take the Sleepy Lion Trail so I took the opportunity to grab a few caches along the way.
