Getting close

This cache was originally planted on Aug 19, 2001; by Kari & LeAnne. Cachers known as Spice3x, and now that I have adopted the cache as of 11/22/2004 I do not want to forget the original owners, who placed the cache that introduced me to caching. So the name is derived from some of my favorite spices, and a song that I like. And when you get to the cache enjoy the real Sound of Silence, Then you can Slip Slide Away as you come back down hill.
Park at Gravel Pit Trailhead CR 43. Follow the trail up the hill and enjoy the views, a camera and binoculars would be nice to have.
After a mile you will be able to look to the East and get a nice view.
Approach the cache from the South, near a tree, next to the wall do I lie.

I found this cache 6 years ago, and wanted my daughter to find it this time, so stopped to visit it today. However, we couldn't find it after looking for 15 minutes. We did find a spot with a small man-made wall of rocks and some logs that looked like it held the cache. It's been long enough that I don't remember for sure if this is where it was hidden last time. I contacted the cache owner with a photo of the spot, asking if this is where it had been hid, but haven't heard back for 3 weeks. So, I wanted to leave this note that this cache might not be here any longer.

I found this back in 2010 but had no recollection of where it is hidden. So this was like finding it all over again. Everything is in tip-top shape.

Hiking day with Mesa Finds and our geo-dogs. I took the squirting frog keychain and left a wooden oink coin, I think. Tftc!

Out making a trip on Crosier Mountain today with Icezebra11, the day started out at 9:30 that was cool and breezy, the climb to the top still had me working up a good sweat once in awhile, made finds out of 5 of the 6 caches we went after today. The views were amazing today the entire way up and down the mountain it was the first time for me on this side of Crosier which made it all that more enjoyable thanks Tahosa and Sons for the placement of this cache and bringing me to this special place! Thanks Brad for accompanying along the trail!

I love that the original log from 2001 is still in use. Grabbed this on my way back down from Crosier. Find #6 for the day. TNLNSLTFTC

Went caching with Jolly Muser. Saw a few hunters near the cache and tried to stay quiet for them. Great hike and great sites! TFTC!

Had a wonderful day hiking up Crosier Mountain. The weather was perfect. I approached this one from the north which of course the cache description says not to do. I quickly realized the error of my ways and took a different approach. Great to see such an old one still going. Everything was in great shape. Thanks so much for placing this one.

Found this super awesome cache while out for a hike with the wife. It's awesome to see a 13 year old cache is still going and in such good condition.
