From the time when kids had to walk uphill both ways to get to school, the Yuma County Historical Society has set out to locate and mark as many old schools as possible
North Logan
District 62 North Logan was established October 30, 1907. The North Logan Schoolhouse already existed at the time the district was formed as the meeting to form the district was held in the North Logan Schoolhouse.
A few of the early teachers were: Lucy Roberts, John William, William Nash and Fern Coston.
In 1946 District #62 was consolidated with District #74, Idalia. The North Logan School was one of the schools that was moved to Idalia at the time of consolidation and used while the new schools was being built. It was located on the west end of the new Idalia School building.
