The cache is hidden up the first segment of the Colorado Trail that runs from Waterton Canyon to the footbridge that crosses the river. You can park there. The trail heads uphill to the east here.
This cache is the reincarnation of another cache of mine that I archived because of the lengthy closure of Waterton Canyon. That one was called Waterton Side Trail #4 (GC1JBB7). It’s the same container – a trail mix jar.
