Locted just before you enter the town of St. Elmo - no hike required. As of 8/27/2005 the cache was upgraded to a large container and new logbook due to its popularity.

Enjoy caching while you also can enjoy the town of St. Elmo.

The road to the cache is mainly dirt, but well maintained. The cache is a small decon container that is hidden in a pocket of the boulders in which the GPS should led you. If there is snow in the area I think it will be possible to find, unless it is deep.

St. Elmo offers in the summer time, quad rentals, and in the winter snowmobiles. Located off the same road (you will pass 10 miles before St. Elmo) is the Princeton Hot Springs.

This is one of our favorite areas to camp and I think you will enjoy a stay or just a visit. If you like to 4x4, go back via the 4x4 road located at the end of Iron City camp ground or Tin Cup.

Our 8th cache of the day. Enjoyed our visit to St. Elmo this afternoon. This may perhaps be the most vibrant ghost town in the world, at least by the number of people here during our visit. We really enjoyed watching the hummingbirds. We had been hearing the sound they make but did not realize what was making it. After hearing them up close though, now we hear the birds flying around all over the area. Many thanks.
