Located in Hartman Rock recreational area.
This is another in the series of Gunnison View caches. This one is perhaps the most difficult one to find with the possible exception of Gunnison View 6. The route you need to take to the cache is not obvious and in my opinion, you definitely need 4WD to get there.

The cache is in a small (4 in x 4 in x 2 in) clear plastic Rubbermaid container with a red top. It's well hidden, but your GPS should put you right on it.

You get a great view of Gunnison, CO from this cache. See the pictures I took when I placed the cache.

Out with CB_Beauty and the geo-dog trying out our side by side for first time this year.. Beautiful views of Gunni from these caches. CITO'd when we saw trash.
This one was a hike, from parking our ride to cache and back to our ride was nearly 2 1/2 hours, we certainly earned our smiley. The find itself was fairly easy. As we were signing the log the wind kicked up, blowing in a spring storm, so we hurried off the mountain top.
