Collect information from two signs at the posted coordinates, then follow the dirt road about 3/4 mile to find the cache at the calculated coordinates.  I hiked from the highway to place this cache and "Doug likes the views" but other options are possible.  Please follow "leave no trace" guidelines if you choose wheeled travel and don't make ruts.  Be aware the road is dirt with some overhanging bushes and narrow spots.

Highway 139 is sometimes closed for avalanche control or dangerous conditions.  The cache is about four feet above ground level and right along the road, so it should be possible to find it if the highway is open.

For the north coordinates, N39 3A.BBC using the sign that says "Look-out Mtn Road South Canyon" (these words are on more than one line).

A = the number of letters in the first word on the second line

B = the number of E's on the sign (don't count the BLM logo)

C = 1 plus the number of letters in the last word on the second line

For the west coordinates, W108 49.XYZ using the sign that has 245 at the top and "open to" 6 brown decals showing activities.  Use all six decals for each question.

X = the total number of walking sticks

Y = the total number of people plus the number of horses plus the number of bicycles

Z = the number of horses

When you find the cache, you might notice that it has a different name.  I changed my mind on what to call it.

Wow did not think I would be FTF one this. Thought I’d grab it on my way home from my Kansas trip. My goal had been to get close to here last night, camp, and finish the drive to the cache in the morning. The pounding rain changed that plan. I spent the night in Parachute. The road hadn’t completely dried by the time I arrived. After collecting the needed info, I drove just past the campsites when my tires die for replacement this fall started doing the hoochie-coochie. I backed up to the campsites and walked the rest of the way. Skirting around the edge of a large mud puddle, I quickly discovered the bushes and trees I was hanging on to were cover with mud from vehicles splashing them. After easily finding the cache and signing in, I returned on the other side of the puddle thinking that may keep me cleaner. No such luck. The mud was goopier than expected at one point. I slid and went to my knees. That was a mess. Knowing I had one more cache to do, I didn’t want to clean-up entirely in case there was more mud to be encountered. I protected the driver”s seat with an old poncho and changed shoes. Alright on to the 7.

Thanks a bunch for placing a 0.

Thanks for the cache!
