This cache is located on a 4-mile segment of the Peaks to Plains Trail that opened on July 28, 2016. The cache is nothing fancy, just a traditional hide with a large ammo can.
The vision for the Peaks to Plains Trail is a 65-mile trail from the Continental Divide on Loveland Pass to the South Platte River Trail in Denver and Adams County.

Make sure to wave and holler at any rafters going by! Also, This cache would be fun to do on a bicycle starting at the Mayhem Gulch Trailhead. (and of course, further, once more of the trail is completed.)
If your GPS is bouncing around, please note the terrain rating. There is no need to scale a cliff or ford a river for this one, folks.
