Got this one after doing the walk across the road. Such a great location. Some really old trees also. This was further up then I thought but coming from VEGAS and not used to the elevation was so glad I got it.

Still in good shape and great find. No action for a while. Glad I got to be the first in almost 2 years.

Was working the CSP geotrail and randomly stopped for this one. was a little interesting getting to and back from. Rain was rolling in as I found my way back to the jeep. Nice to find an old cache still out there.

For the second time this summer, my GPS showed that there was a cache only 0.15 miles from my tent. While both involved hiking up a mountainside, this one was definitely less intense. Found with a group of Scouts from Troop 122 of Los Alamos, NM after a hike of Mt. Sherman in the morning.

This cache is one of the reasons we came to Fairplay today. Parked at the camp sight and made the short hike up the make a quick find. The cache is in Great shape. Just look to what was in the area of our campsite. Walk up was harder than expected this allergy season, a nice walk all the same. Cache was easy to find once we arrived at the coordinates.

Only place we could find to park for this one was in a campsite, but since it was Sunday the campground was almost empty. We hiked up to this one as my parents waited in the truck. We found the nice container after a pretty good hike, signed the log and made the much quicker descent. Just as we were pulling out of the campground the campsite hosts were driving through. Made it just in time!
