#2 Over Hill and Under Hill

Over Hill and Under Hill is the fourth chapter of The Hobbit.  Gandalf, Bilbo, and the Dwarves begin their journey through the Misty Mountains. While spending the night in a cave, they are captured by Goblins and brought before the Great Goblin; however, Gandalf rescues them, though during their escape Bilbo becomes lost in the tunnels.   This chapter is followed by Riddles in the Dark, which holds the most importance to The Lord of the Rings as it deals with Bilbo's finding of the One Ring and the introduction of Gollum.

10:36 AM Today we stopped at the farmer's market, as is our custom. We ran into our friends from Carroll Lakes, who had children and grandchildren in tow. We had a little field lab about geocaching at Memorial Park and bid the kids safe travel back to Dallas.

Then we came to Lovell Gulch to do an easier hike after a hard day yesterday. Perhaps a little below coords, but found in good shape.

I signed the log.

Found an old boot, but no cache. Zig zagged up and down the hill with no luck. Maybe I can still guess the final location.

Worked our way up to this one, with us both wondering about 3,4,5,6 and the final?

We both were just using our phones and noticed some variation in distance and direction, which just added to the fun of the hunt.
