There and Back Again; a Geocacher’s Holiday
You do NOT have to read “The Hobbit” by J.R.R. Tolkien, nor do you need to watch the movie or be familiar with the story in any way to find all seven geocaches in this series. All caches are just off the easy trail; this walk/hike is about 2 miles TOTAL, with minimal elevation change.
Be sure to write down the single digit that is on the inside cover of the logbook in each of the first six caches that give you the coordinates to the final, which is a plastic ammo can. There is also a trackable code on the inside of the cover of all seven logbooks so you can discover seven trackables, each somehow related to the story.
Park at the listed coordinates and you will be there and back again (TABA) as fast as your hobbit feet will take you. Find caches #1 through #6 in that order and the puzzle cache final that is #7 is on your way back to parking, after #6.
