Small ammo can that has an emergency kit with poncho, blanket and signal device plus FTF and other trinkets

This cache is about 7 miles up the Transfer Trail from the upper parking lot above Glenwood Springs. It is definitely a high clearance 4x4 road ( I do not recommend a full size pickup if you value your paint job) It takes about 75 minutes in a jeep or 50 minutes in a quad or dirt bike. (NOT FOR THE NOVICE 4X4 DRIVER). This is a Grand View of many Mountain Ranges plus No Name Creek and Grizzly Creek Canyons. Spectacular vistas known mostly by locals so bring your camera and pack a lunch. Keep children away from the edges there are no guardrails. You can continue on around to the Coffee Pot road by it can take a total of about 5-7 hours to come out on I-70 on the other side of Glenwood Canyon but the trip and views are worth it and you will be at 11,000 feet in some areas, plus there are other caches along the way. Due weather and mud conditions this cache may only be accessible from late June til early September. Please be aware of the weather and road conditions.

Thanks for the cache. I really enjoy this area. Traveled it today with snow on the ground and all the puddles frozen over! Saw a bear in this vicinity last year. The location and easy find with my phone (forgot the gps) gets this one a favorite from me!
