Along side trail, in an aspen/douglas fir grove. The cache is in a green ammo box
a pencil and notepad is in the box along with about 4 small toy items. The container is your typical dark green army ammo box. Hikers have constructed a tee-pee out of fallen aspen logs near the cache. The tee-pee is made against a large douglas fir. The cache is located near this tee-pee that has been there for over 3 years.

This cache is located in a very busy area that is at the first available campsite along the trail. So there are many entries in the log book from campers which are not logged in the geocaching.com web site. There is no teepee, but instead a four-sided log structure about 6-7 feet tall.

We found the ammo box laying out in the open upside-down in the snow. There was no geo-coin inside. After logging this cache I placed the box under the nearest tree within 5 feet of where our GPS had marked the coordinates.

We came up to hike this damp morning. We had a little rain when we first started out, but it dried out quickly and we had a great hike. It was wonderful to have a cache up here! Thanks so much for hiding it there. It is very easy to see. Thanks again for the cache!

All is well at GZ. We came out this way specifically to aid a TB on its journey to snowy areas. The leaves have fallen here already, but the snow is still above 11,000 ft for now. The weather was great for hiking, and we had some great family time. TFTC!
