Ammo box hidden off the trail on a nice day hike.
Half-size ammo can hidden off a nice trail. Would be a good area to have lunch and play around.

I think it's kind of funny to call this ammo can half-sized. Most cans I find have these dimensions, but I of course know what the regular can looks like. Anyway, I had a rough time following the trail to this cache. Looking at my track log, it kind of seems like I was trying to run away from an alligator, zig zagging the entire way.

Everything with the cache is in great shape. I saw a downy woodpecker after replacing the container. I had a little better time following the trail on the way back until the very end, where I lost it once again. Most of the small trails around here aren't on my GPS topo map, though there is one that runs north of the hills on there. It's labeled "What Trail is This?" which is an odd thing to have on the official Garmin US topo.

Out camping for mine and Spiderman's birthdays. Finally found this one with the help of a muggle family that was hanging around the site. TFTC!!

Nice location and a fun find. If only there was a nice cool glass of lemonade :)

We have come from south Carolina in my lifted four door jeep at 11MPG, today made it all worth it. This was the first grab for the day while we hit this trail today. We are on our way to California and we had planned on spending today and tomorrow in the mountains four wheeling and finding caches. We had such an awesome time. It was a easy trail, but was awesome! I never thought I would be out wheeling in the rocky mountains

not really a DNF got within .11 miles and decided to turn back around because of the weather.
