This valley is across the highway from our cabin, and I own most of the geocaches placed in it. They don't get a lot of traffic, and I think it might be because they can be a little difficult in the amount of time and effort required to get to them. So, I decided this year, to place an easier cache to help lure people to the valley. There is nothing spectacular about this spot. I can tell you that if you made it to this cache, the road ahead is much easier than the road behind you. Unfortunately, the creek through the valley has been dry again for the past couple of years so there is probably no water in it. And of course, I recommend the other caches in the valley for some nice scenery.
I am not in the habit of making deep forest caches hard to find becasue I would rather you get out to the area for the views; so I will tell you that it is a bison tube sitting on top of the large rock in a hole with a smaller rock placed on it. Please make sure to cover it again so muggles do not see it. Parking is available right at the cache and there is even room to turn around if you wish.
