Fortunately I had the puzzle master with me, so this one didn’t give me any grief…although I understand it was a little tricky due to insufficient information. Thank goodness the cache and contents didn't live up to the cache name! Thanks for another cache in this beautiful area.

I found a few websites with calculators that would solve this problem, and although they were close, they didn't quite agree. Also, the water content depends on air pressure (or altitude), doesn't it? Anyway, one website was within .001 of the solution and by trial and error, I eventually stumbled on success. Estes01 and I grabbed this on our way up Storm Mountain this morning. TFTC!

Ah, finally in Silverton with the family, and I have a ticket for some daily cache-finding time. This is the one I wanted most of all, because it took me "forever" to solve the puzzle. Lots of Xcel spread sheet time back during the winter; lots of frustrations. And I've studied maps to death. I don't have the "equipment" for a close approach, so I knew that my puppy Orizaba and I had a long, tough hike ahead of us. But I like hiking! So off we went, up and up and up. And the cache box was in perfect condition, and the log book was empty so I celebrated over a great {FTF} on a super puzzle and a marvelous cache location. Thanks for the challenge and the thrill, jake92.

Oh, I couldn't resist: I took the $1 Million banknote left for the FTF. Thanks!
