In celebration of the Fourth of July, we hid this patriotic cache. It is a clear plastic container. Hidden in the cache are things that have to do with the good old Red, White and Blue.
Best way to get there is take Highway 50 to Purcell in Pueblo West and head South.
Go to 38° 17.07N 104° 43.45W and enjoy the view. Then look for the cache. Morning or evening is a great time to see this area. There are quite a few trails in this area, just becareful of the loose shale. God Bless America!!!

Long hard look to find but still fun

61st cache found. This was a great little find. The top does not fit securely anymore. You may want a new container. There was a small amount of water in the container but not bad. TFTC

Quite the steep trail. But these type caches have always been my favorite. A little ice here and there made trail just a little treacherous. Loved it. Thanks for sharing this adventure with us.

I was out hunting some Hidden Creatures for the souvenirs and this cache was on my list. I felt the terrain rating should be a bit higher considering the steep trail and the poor condition of some sections. Or maybe I'm just getting too old for this kind of hike. :) I found the cache after a short search. It helps to come at it from the right angle. The tabs on the lid are all broken, but a rock is holding the lid in place and all is well with the log and contents. I added some Get Out of Hell Free cards and took a small tin. Thanks for adding to today's fun. God bless all nations. No exceptions.

Wandering around for a few days to pick up some new counties and states and finish some challenges and grab some oldies.

Took a while to figure out that there were trails down. Is it normal to hear rattles all over the place as you go down? None near the trail but as a city person it was unusual.

Thanks for the fun!

I dropped a trackable here today on a visit, such a beautiful view I had to come back! I figured this would be a nice safe spot for him to await his next companion.

Out in the cold and picking up a few caches, hadn't planned on it being as cold as it is. A nice quick cache to find, appreciate the placement.

We enjoyed hiking down the trail from the nearby virtual cache. Quick find. Signed log and replaced container as found. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache since 2002.
