GC1VBN1 Multi-cache In the wrong spot
Type: Multi | Size: Small Small | Difficulty: 2 out of 5 | Terrain: 2.5 out of 5
By: JR&B @ | Hide Date: 07/02/2009 | Status: Available
Country: United States | State: Colorado
Coordinates: N38° 52.313 W104° 47.519 | Last updated: 08/30/2019 | Fav points: 0

A two part multi with a twisted or misplaced building as the first part. Not sure how or why it is. I don’t think it was moved by a tornado or something!
I hope the mailman knows where it is??
Anyway to find the coordinates to the 2nd part, convert the letters of the street address of the building at the first part using this code going left to right: A=1, B=2, C=3, E=4, I=3, L=6, N=3, O=4, P=5, R=1, S=2, U=3. Do not use any North or South part of the address. You only need 6 letters and their resulting numbers. If all your numbers add up to 20, then you have it right. Then going left to right again place the numbers for the final coordinates here: N. 38' 52. 1st# +4, 2nd# +6, 3rd# +6 ; W. 104' 46. 4th# +5, 5th# +0, 6th# +1

CLUES: You can see the building at the first part from the final cache location, if you have good vision.
Use a ph_n_b_ok to verify the street address of the first part.
There is a easy (from top) to moderate (from bottom) hike to the cache depending on what route you take.

Glad to redeem myself on this one. I made the find harder than the puzzle. I returned today to enjoy a beautiful Friday afternoon. This time, I circled a few times and then spotted it quite readily. So enjoyed the rest of my hike in the park - one of my favorite places. Thank you for the puzzle and the hide and for taking good care of it! I grabbed the travel bug that has an interesting story/evolution. TFTC!

After making quick work of the puzzle, I held on to this one for a day a needed an 'easy' one. Today was that day. Out for a quick walk after work. Enjoyed the nice weather despite a few raindrops. Narrowed in on GZ but this one eluded me. Unsure of the container, I searched in typical hiding spots high and low but to no avail. I finally gave up after about 30 minutes of searching. This one goes on my revenge list. I'll be back.

This was the right spot to spend some time soaking up the location. Thanks for the multi and a nice hike this morning.

We did the math for the coords to this cache over two years ago and just never made it up to the area for the find. Today was the day since the weather was gorgeous, not much chance for a storm, and there was a mystery cache we needed to grab as well. It has been more than a year since the last find, but the container was safely hidden away in great shape. Signed the log, left a train and nabbed a grasshopper for our grandson who loves "green things"! Thanks for this hide.

Thanks for the fun Multi-cache! I worked this one out last week since I was in the area. Turns out this was on another ridge line from where I was and I was feeling a bit lazy. Today On the way home this was my only target. Great hike and beautiful views! I love getting out to these ones. Coords were dead on for me too which really helped! Signed and stamped the log and returned as found. All is well here. Thanks again for creating and placing this fin cache.

Have had this one figured out for few weeks but the weather has not been ideal for the scramble to the cache. This afternoon was the best we have had in sometime so I went for it. I took the long way and enjoyed the walk. Easy find, picked up the TB and signed the log. Cache is in great shape. TFTC
