There really isn't any parking around here, we just pulled over to the side of the road which shouldn't be a problem in this area. We went with our two very young children. We definitely recommend this for older children, but the younger ones may require a little assistance as the trail can get rough on the steep parts. Nice little trail with a beautiful walk to the cache location.


Please note, this cache was originally a two stage multi-cache Leaf Me Alone but the clue has come up missing and since we can't get back to Colorado at this time to replace it, we archived that cache and re-listed it as a traditional cache. There will be some previous logs in the log book from the previous cache listing. I would like to ask if the first person to visit this cache could tear off the page(s) from the log book with the old logs in it and throw it away for us and then log your FTF please. Last grab on today's phantom canyon/gold camp road adventure! Again this was just a random selected hide. Once in group, found that it's almost been a year! Cache was slightly damp but not bad.

Oh my. I made this so much more difficult than it needed to be! But got there in the end (and came out a different way). Picked up the two trackables that have been there since last year to move them along. This is my first time along Old Stage Road in years. Busier than I expected, but just a little cooler than town today. TFTC and the fun.
