Celebrating dad and daughter time, whether geocaching, fishing, kayaking or hanging out.  Our lunch during a kayak adventure around the reservoir provided the name inpiration.  We hope you enjoy the cache and the views.

Accessible from the trail around Rampart reservoir.  Quicker and easier to do so by kayak, canoe or boat. Approach from either side...going directly at the cache from the trail is a bear.

Its in decent shape...will replace the container with an ammo box on the next trip.

The Old Lady and I waited out a thunderstorm nearby, to avoid getting struck by lightning while boating back to the boat launch. I might suggest a terrain rating of 3-4 for this cache, since the approach is steep, the soil is very loose and crumbles away when you step on it, and the larger rocks can also be slick to step on... especially when you have to climb the ones on the lake side of the trail. But the cache itself is in decent shape.

Cache is doing OK despite a bit of water in the container. The log was dry. TFTC
