Traveling a bit north for some caching, especially where we can walk some trails and enjoy the scenery. Not too busy today, good camo so it took a bit of searching. Tftc.

What a gorgeous spring day, about time. Perfect weather for caching. After Kolton's baseball game he headed off with his dad for the remainder of the weekend. I headed up to Monument to enjoy some adult time with a friend. First time visiting the Ice Cave Cider House, what a cool little local spot. After sampling all the yummy ciders, this amazing weather was taunting me for at least one find. Went to the park nearby for the grab. Found it but the baggie was stuck in there pretty good, didn't want to break a nail, so didn't try for long... I know, such a girl :) took a pic instead of singing the log. TFTF!

This hide was harder than a 2 1/2 & had Rick not just logged "he had been there to ck on cache" we would have given up without the smiley. He is a reputable c.o. who takes care of his caches. THXS! SL.

Great little park to play in! We came up to help Kimi setup for the fair and then we came over here to the park to have a little play time before heading back into the springs. We got to watch a very long train go by while we were here. Lots of fun to be had by the wee ones.
- My friend thinks he is smart. He told me an onion is the only food that makes you cry, so I threw a coconut at his face.
