This is a 4 stage puzzle-multi. Solve the puzzle first before heading out to find the first waypoint. You will most likely have a roundtrip hike of 14-18 miles to retrieve this cache. Be sure to get the other great caches that are around while you are up in the 'neighborhood.' Happy caching!

Total gonzo. I've tried a couple dozen ways to unscramble the cypher, all to no avail. But I've got an epic coming up that the multi-coin reeeeally needs to go on. So it was just a matter of hike & hunt, hunt & hike. Had a wrong hunch that meant going way the wrong direction... only managed to spend an hour under a ledge waiting out the day's lightning on that track. Eventually waited out the weather and made another climb... seeing the printing on top of the un-rock-covered cache was a "whoop!" -inducer!!
It turned so freepin' windy after the rain quit that it was startling to stand up to try and head out!!
I traded the multi coin for a replacement project White Jeep - look it up before planning a dash just for it. This cache, where it is, will last quite well as many more years as it needs Smile

What a great day on the mountain with WingsandTales on the date of my 7th anniversary of Geocaching, and this one was the piece d'resistance! I loved the placements and the final was stunning. I had picked up a TB awhile back that wanted to move between multis and this one was very worthy! IN - TB OUT - nothing TFTH!!

Well done! This cache has it all - an interesting puzzle, nice stops along the way and jaw dropping views at the final. Just when I think I have seen Pikes Peak from every possible angle some one shows me something new. Kenyansherpa and I had a great day chasing this and other caches on the middle part of the mountain. We hiked 20+ miles even after riding the cog train up to Mountain View to start. I picked up the coin to get it moving again. TFTC

I thought I'd beat the heat in the Springs and head up to Pikes Peak, but it was hot on the Peak too. I mountain biked this one, and met more hikers than I expected training for the upcoming Ascent. It's amazing to me that people run up this mountain - and with such little fanny packs and tiny water bottles!

It's a great view from the final. The sun was strong, and I'm now a shade of red Picasso would find hard to duplicate. BigSmile Thanks for the work that went into setting this up. Swapped trackables, SL.

I've always known about this trail, but this is the first time I have had the opportunity to hike it. It was very pleasant with great view and few people. Just the kind of trail I like. Thanks for the adventure. Left a coin.
