This cache is for those who are uncomfortable with the rock climbing required to reach Sentinel Point
For the hearty hiker who is uncomfortable with rock climbing, this cache will get you near the top of Sentinel Point. Turn right on 704c.The views are awesome, the hike is a strenuous workout and will take you on a path less traveled. Nice waterfall at 12000 ft. Cache is in a plastic food container with log book and pencil and room for trading items.
I left a red jeep travel bug for FTF.

We stopped to look for this on our way back down from Sentinel Point, but couldn't find it. There was a fair amount of snow on the ground, which was probably a significant factor. But I'll definitely look again the next time I'm up there! :)

On a major cache trek today to Sentinel Point to chase a D/T that is needed for a double fizzy. Had to stop and get this one first on the way up to the Point! Cache looks good where it is and well protected. There were kissing camels too! Great hide!

ALLENMABRY shared with me that he had done this cache last year and almost assured me that it should be there if I made the trek. Well of course it was, but I had ran out of time with a waiting wife in the car to make the final stab that the summit. I was really tired and feeling the effects of the altitude this late in the day, so sadly I headed back to conquer it another day, Really glad I did get this one though. Rare favorite point from me.
