From Canon City, go to Florence. From Florence go to Wetmore. At Wetmore turn right on hwy 96 and go to hwy 165. Turn left on hwy 165 and go 'till you see a red and black mailbox that says Fire Dept. (.9 miles north of Bishop's Castle.) Turn right at the mailbox and stay on Forest Service Road 360 'till you get to the junction of 360, 369 and 634. (360 IS CLOSED IN WINTER.) At the junction of 360, 369 and 634, go straight on 634. The elevation of the cache is 10,742 ft.
The cache is an army ammo box. The original contents was a Fisherman's kit, a 3 pc. lock set, a 100 pc. marble set, a tennis ball, an ATV, a deck of poker cards, a note pad and pencils, and a disposable camera. Please take a picture of youself, and note the number of the picture with your entry in the logbook. NATURE LOVERS!!! Visit this cache and you'll find coordinates for a bonus virtual cache.

Cache is in fine shape. There have been signatures on the log in the last two years, even if not online. It was a beautiful day for a drive through the mountains, the road was pretty good, and the view wonderful. Thanks for this oldie, Thunder Jack.

Tftc! What a view and the road was still pretty nice the shady spots are snow packed but nothing a vehicle can't make! Enjoyed the views, lots and lots of hunters out!

Awesome views from here. Nice container. Really good spot for a cache. Very cool marshy valley down there and huge snow covered mountains really make for some nice photo opportunities.

I decided to grab this one for my daily cache for August 10th. There are great views from the cache. #1805 SL TFTC I grabbed an unrecorded Geocoin in the cache to move on. The cache is in great shape! Favorite point! #300 Colorado Geocache find.
