I can't imagine how scary that fire was. Beautiful area.

I am doing a solo run through southeast Colorado trying to pick up counties and DeLorme squares. This is day two of my three day journey.

This one was nice and easy, just like I like them. All was in good shape, and I replaced as found.

I'm in Colorado for a family ski trip, and I couldn't resist coming a couple of days early and grabbing a few more Colorado counties!! This was the cache I chose for Costilla County!!

Found this lucky survivor on a visit to my Forbes Park property. Left an ISAG pathtag.

Omg. So very cool. Went once and lost WiFi. Then went back and found it. The previous cacher who found the cache after the fire gave excellent hints. Unbelievable how the cache container survived the fire. Log is dry and ready for another several years. Happy caching everyone!

Found after the terrible Spring Creek Fire, over 108,000 acres & many homes burned. Unbelievably, the tree where this cache is was burned, but the cache survived! It is slightly bent but still watertight. Log was nice & dry. It is a bit of a drive from 160, but all on public land, no need to be where we shouldn’t. SL. TFTC
