#41902 Found while on a visit to Pike's Peak today. It was a beautiful day to be up on the mountain. The snow wasn't too bad, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. I have had the final coordinates to this cache since visiting here 2 years ago for GeoWoodstock XIV. Unfortunatley, on the way down, we forgot to stop to grab the final to this. I was visiting some friends in Colorado Springs for the Thanksgiving holiday, so I decided to come to the summit again so that I could grab this. Parked in a convenient spot along the side of the road nearby and made the short walk over to the cache. There thankfully wasn't much snow on this face of the mountain, so it was a relatively easy walk. The cache had a bit of snow in its hidey hole, but it was still easy to spot. Glad to finally get this one off of the to-do list. TFTC

I have rented a campervan for 24 days to go geocaching and exploring around the western part of the US, starting in Denver.
Today I drove from Denver, up to Pikes Peak and spent the night in Woodland Park. It was really nice to be able to drive up to more than 4000m and enjoy the views up there, plus finding all the great caches.
About this cache:
Very nice multicache that I’m giving a favouritepoint. It was a bit of snow at gz, but not too hard to find the cache and dig it out with the hands. Beautiful views at both stages. Tftc, greetings from Norway

What an epic caching weekend! Covered a lot of ground! Today was all about Pikes Peak. Started bright and early with a hike along the ridge from Devil's Playground, then headed up towards the event. I've had this one solved for what seems like forever, glad to finally turn it into a smiley! Thanks for placing this fun cache, it was a surprisingly quick find at GZ!
Please note...due to construction at the top, access to this cache is questionable. Unless you have a special permit to go all the way to the summit, cars are forced to park at Devil's Playground (and ride the free shuttle to the top, no stops along the way). Walking is not permitted on the road, but you could hike up Craggs trail approach from the playground toward the top to this cache.

Thank you for this geocache on the mountain today! Is very beautiful location for the final.
Be aware though, with construction at the top, driving up rules have changed to get this cache. You cannot walk down to it unless by the Crags trail and getting to it by car is hard. Recommend CO place note in the cache page for this until it's done.

I enjoyed the hike to get to this one! At first, I thought I had made a mistake in solving for stage 2 as it was a little further away than I expected. But hey, I am in town for a short time and the weather was fantastic for the hike back down. So off I go!! Upon reaching GZ, there were a lot of options for searching in the rocks. I eventually discovered the cache location once I gained to proper perspective. Thanks for the hide!
