This is a park and hike cache that leads you into Pike National Forest near 11 Mile Reservoir.  An easy hike in a scenic area, and don't miss out on a visit to 11 Mile State Park and the trails.  You may find more cache opportunities at the lake.

This was my second trip to 11 Eleven Mile State Park area because there are a number of interesting caches in the area. I had formally dubbed today “11M Run Phase 2,” but informally the “Replacement Run” from all of the caches I wound up repairing today. This cache was on my target list because it had a good D/T combination and it looked fun. Based on the previous logs and the fact that the CO hasn’t logged in for the past 5 years, this cache was obviously in distress. I attempted to get as close as possible to GZ before dismounting, and I found a single vehicle parking spot relatively close by navigating the back roads. The replacement container is located on the bearing tree, wedged in the bearing sign. Hopefully the cache will survive for a number of years. If the CO resumes his geocaching career and has any questions or needs information on the replacement, please feel free to contact me. Thanks to the CO for making this placement and finding this very cool spot, TFTC.

found it but the last cachers log was correct. the outer part of the container is gone. emailing a pic tothe co to verify. was going to leave a new container but we didn't have anything resembling this container in our stores. ;) .
