Whether you're on a multi-day backpacking trip on the Colorado Trail, mountain biking, hiking, or trail running, you'll need a cool creek to relax. We hope you enjoy this beautiful spot and the ammo can. There's no need to bushwhack; your feet don't even have to leave the trail.

There are many ways to combine this spot into a route, but the closest is the Buffalo Trailhead in the waypoints.

[FTF] #76 @ 9:20 am! WOO-HOO! This fun new hide was the primary objective of a caching run over to the Buffalo Park area this morning. It started out to be a cold, a foggy day as I made the drive over from Evergreen. I parked at the camp ground and made the short trek over to GZ. As soon as I arrived, I had to wait out three nice through hikers that were just packing up and getting ready to begin their next leg of the Colorado Trail. We chatted briefly and as they headed up the trail, I headed for the cache. I had no trouble with a quick and easy recovery of the wonderful new ammo can (my favorite hide) with a killer custom camo paint job! I happily added my stamp in Pole Position, snapped a few pictures, and returned as found. Thanks to CO VVilliam for a well done hide, in a bucolic spot along the Colorado Trail. I forgot to mention the wildflowers were on full display today, happy to award this one with it's very first favorite point. TFTC!
