Bionicle

This cache is a tribute-cache to one of our geo-buddies in Woodland Park, known as 'GeoSpy'. This young man has made such a favorable impression
on us, that we decided to put together a multi-cache just for him. (of course everyone is welcome to do it) GeoSpy has placed some excellent caches so far, and we are anxiously awaiting his next one. We figure that by the time he turns 15, none of us will be able to find his caches! so, GeoSpy...this one's dedicated to you. We hope you find it challenging and fun. we hope everyone does!
==THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE COORDINATES LISTED ABOVE. You will need to view the attached photo, and decipher the clue to gain the coordinates to the first waypoint===

Well, silly me. I did solve this puzzle back in 2016. However, I didn't see the first stage, but I probably didn't look hard enough. (c:geo was having a problem with Personal Notes not getting downloaded from the cache page, so I wasn't sure I was using corrected coords for stage 1.

3:31 PM We are here from Dallas for our typical August vacation in Divide in order to skip the Texas heat for a couple of weeks.

Today I am hunting a few caches in the Schubarth Trail area.

I don't understand why this cache was submitted as a multicache. I've never seen another multicache where you have to solve a puzzle to get the starting coordinates. Of course, I discovered this when I arrived at this network deadspot.

I'll own that mistake.

Second time out working on this one. I found the first waypoint weeks ago but without internet service in this area I had to solve the first puzzle at home. Today I found the second waypoint and then the final. I dropped a few travelers for the next finders. Cache is in GREAT shape. Thanks for the challenging Multi. Stamped the log and we're off to the next one. [8d][8d] SL TFTC

After the 3WK's Happy Canada Day event right here, my wife (from Kingston, Ont) & I had to run this one down! It took an extra lap way back towards (cell reception) since my devices, brain included, couldn't make one of the conversions.
Amazing how much holiday traffic clogs RR Rd !!!

Spending the weekend in Woodland Park for a wedding. Was eating breakfast with my brother this morning and showed him the first clue. Within a few minutes he had it figured out and we had the coords for the first stage. After the wedding, we had some free time so we decided to pursue this one. Really enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the drive to he first stage. Got to GZ and spent several minutes searching before spotting the well hidden clue to the next stage.
Fortunately I had a tool on my phone to decipher the clue since I didn't have cell service and we were soon on our way to the next stage.
Found this stage fairly easily and took a few minutes to solve the puzzle here which gave us another set of coords that looked very promising.
After a short search, we spotted an ammo can that I knew would be the final. Signed our names on the log and started our trek back to civilization.
This is one of the best multis I've ever done and it earns a favorite for the puzzle, location, and general well thought out multi. TFTC!
P.S. I did start to look for the benchmark but came to a fence with signs indicating it was private property so I decided to pass on that today.

This took about 3 years to finish. I had a low clearance 2wd vehicle up until 2 years ago. Got to one waypoint and decided to wait until I had time to hike to the next waypoint. Then once I did get a 4wd vehicle that could drive up the road farther we up and moved out of state. Finally back and decide to make a trip up here today to explore and pick up some caches. Tftc!

I'm so glad to get the smilie at the multi in the middle of Woodland Park. I had solved the home puzzle this spring but was not able to get to the second part until a couple of weeks ago. But then it got too dark to go any further. I came back today to finish this up. I had a big hiccup trying to get to the 2nd stage when a website gave me the wrong conversion causing me to walk an extra 1/2 mile along a very nice trail but didn't find anything so I did it a different way & ended up returning to the road about .2 from where my car was parked. From there it was smooth sailing and I signed the final log.
