This was my second trip to 11 Eleven Mile State Park because there are a number of interesting caches in the area. I had formally dubbed today “11M Run Phase 2,” but informally the “Replacement Run” from all of the caches I wound up repairing today. This cache was first on my target list because it had a good D/T combination and it looked fun. I don’t normally do so, but before coming after this one I read the cache description and logs before I sent out because I was surprised by the reported missing log at GC3B2V4 Almost. Once I read the description, I saw this cache was in distress. Given that the CO hasn’t logged in since last year and doesn’t seem to understand the process for repairing a cache (disabling vs cache description), I decided to go ahead and put in a placement. While not in the exact same location (the remains of the cairn are still there), the posted coordinates are still good for the replacement cache. While the hide is not snow friendly, I don’t think this cache is accessible in winter months anyway. I’ve contacted the CO for the full replacement details so he can update the cache description as he sees fit. One of the things I like about the find is that it is lonely, and I keep of track of those stats for challenges. With this find, I now have (counting only 1 year or more lonely) a total of 151 years, 1 months lonely time on 70 caches from 11 North American States & Provinces. Thanks to the CO for placing this cache for everyone to find, TFTC.

Easier climb than we originally thought. The best 360 degree view I've ever seen in Colo. Earns a Favorite

TFTC I joined nicehice for a bit of caching in the Florissant area. It is a sunny cool day.

I thought there was a trail up around the back, but it all looked like private property so we parked on the road and climbed from the front. It was quite wet from the overnight rains. What a great view from the top. All was in great shape. This gets a Favorite point.

Great find and even better views! Didn't bring a pen, so we couldn't sign the sheet though.

FTF!

I hadn't planned on Geocaching today, but this morning I noticed this posted last night.

There are a few others up here that would fit in with this one, I packed a lunch and headed up the pass.

I found a good parking spot and worked my way to the top.

This type of container seems to be gaining popularity.

Thanks for the cache and some good old exercise to go with it!
