RedV2 and I are out combining 4 wheeling and caching. This was a real lung buster, I'm a bit out of shape, but since this isn't a race it was doable at a decent pace. Lots of nice views through the trees towards the north of a beautiful valley and hills.
The hiding spot itself is worth seeing, once you get up to it and catch your breath. TFTC
The road out of here to the north is truly a 4wd road. Almost immediately there is a set of rock steps to be negotiated that can be a bit intimidating. HOWEVER.... Tonka (my stock Xterra cachemobile) had no problems negotiating them.

Out with Farm Girl and Olive on our way to Fairplay for the day. This cache is the reason we were in this area today. I like finding these lonely hides. Last found on 08/30/2013!! Over 4 Years. When we got to the GZ the container was gone just like I expected. I hiked down to the truck and grabbed a new container and log and hiked back up the hill. I didn't have any swag to put in the new container but it is good to go and ready to be found. Stamped the NEW log and we're off to the next one. [8d][8d] SL TFTC

Searched a long time for this one. Obvious where it should have been but somehow the cache got on the ground and rolled about 30 ft. downhill.

TFTC Found this one laying on the ground downhill from the GZ. SL TN replaced where hint suggested and weighted it down.
