Takes more than an hour  Scenic view  Not Wheelchair accessible  Parking available  Public restrooms nearby  Not Stroller accessible  Field Puzzle

I originally created this cache in South Carolina (GCTWWR).   It worked pretty well there until vandalism in the area of the final forced me to archive it.  I have always wanted to recreate it someplace else. After some modifications and help (Thanks Qaz) it’s back!  I hope you enjoy it.

This is a multi stage field cache with a puzzle element involved.  The first stage is located at the given coordinates.  The entire cache adventure is located here at, or near, Rampart Park.  As such, you can leave your car parked for the entire cache hunt.  You will be covering a large area so be prepared to do some walking and spend some time enjoying this wonderful park and vistas.  As you venture about, be mindful of your belongings.  Don’t lose anything along the way.  Please be extra mindful of muggles. This is a very popular park. As such, there are always muggles moving about. You DO NOT need any special tools to retrieve any of the stages or the final cache, but you will need to bring your own writing device to sign the log.  Please leave all stages exactly as you found them. Should you need any extra help to grab the find, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I want you to have a great time seeking out this cache, but absolutely with the smiley. :-) BTW, there is a sprinkler head in the area of the final. This is NOT what you seek. Please leave it to do what it was put there to do. Thank you and enjoy!

I needed a good walk today and this cache was perfect! I’ve been here a lot playing disc golf but this time I had to avoid the discs and look for the stages which are all in great shape.
That final was truly devious! Can’t believe I found it without a hint! Thanks for all the work put into this one, it’s a favorite!

If you see a birdhouse in the area of the first stage, please leave it alone. That is not the cache. Thank you.

Didn't find it 08/24/2019 By Paurian
First stage is not the birdhouse. There is a real birdhouse with cedar planks that is rather delicate. Do not touch the birdhouse!

Very fun cache, stages were definitely easier to find than the final. Super fun though, I really enjoyed the puzzle. Tftc

Very well done! I enjoyed all the stages and the puzzle was fun too. What can I say about the final - it was great! We need more caches like this around here. Favorite point awarded! Thanks for placing this cache for me to find. TFTC.

A favorite point for this cache! Started this one a week ago but storms chased us away. Reached out to chihuahuajill who picked up where I left off and got a couple more clues. Today we met up and put together the puzzle to the final. Took a bit of searching but she finally spotted it! Sl, thanks!

We live very near this cache---our daughters both graduated from the nearby school. We have always enjoyed hunting for caches in this nice park/open space over the years.

We had some time this morning before the storm rolled in and had a great walk around the area gathering clues. All containers were in great shape. We were very pleased with how quickly the final coordinates came together. Off to the final!

It was then that the hex set in on us. gampa knew from the hint exactly what we needed to look for, but alas, no joy. We decided to expand our search area and still no find. Due to the distant thunder, we very reluctantly reached out to a previous finder for a nudge. What the hex, you say? We already looked there----over and over. But then all of a sudden the hide made itself clear. Drat! Wish we would have been more thorough and made the find without the help, but we were very happy not to DNF.

This was an excellent mystery/multi-cache from start to finish. We gladly give it a favorite. Hope all of the stages last in this high-muggle area. Thanks Trappistbrew for bringing this cache to our area.

I have to admit I have walked this cache many times, and I still love this park! I helped setup this puzzle so I had some good hints where things are located! :) I pulled up to the park and saw RPiperco and CVA64 in the area of the final. By the time I hiked over to them he was signing the log. Ahh the fun of this cache! This has to be one of the coolest multi's around, I personally love it! I would love to bring the puppies out here to play but then we would never leave that area. Thanks for letting me help with this cache, the whole journey to get it published has been a fun one! On to the next fun one!!

- Did you hear about the semi-colon that broke the law? He was given two consecutive sentences.

What a great cache! This is the first new find I've had in many many months and I'm glad I was able to log this one! A few weeks back Qaz contacted me to give this new cache a try as a beta tester with the CO. I ran the course and offered up a few suggestions but I was mostly just amazed at how much went into this. They did not offer any assistance and I would be ashamed to admit how long the puzzle and final actually took to complete and find.

Fast forward a bit and CVA64 reached out and said there was a new cache he wanted to do and asked if I would like to join him! Well of course! So we set out on the nice walk in a slight sprinkle of rain. The clouds and rain didn't deter our conversation and enjoyment. The cache had been redone and routed from when I tested it, so it was as if doing it fresh.

I will admit here too, that even though I had just done the puzzle a few weeks prior, it was no easy task doing it again! CVA64 and I both worked on it and it still took awhile to piece together! With the final coords and short walk later I had the immense amusement of watching CVA64 search for the final! It's an evil evil hide! I provided very little help, about the same offered to me.

It had been some time and Qaz was able to join us at this point and we decided on some mercy and played the hot and cold game. After signing the log and replacing everything back we had a nice long chat while hanging out in the park.

This as a great cache! Favorite point for the challenge and uniqueness of it. I am very grateful for the little adventure with some great friends!

What a cache! This one is a 5D by experience because of the content involved and the effort required to find the final. Having never seen this type before, I'm impressed with the puzzle and final. I'll give it a favorite point.

I was out of town when this one published, so got to join claudey when she went back for the final. Now THAT's a roundabout, for sure! Haha! I liked the puzzle, well done. That final is truly evil!! Pretty sure we wouldn't have found it without hints! This one earns its DT combo. Thanks for this new addition to the area!

I started this fun puzzle multi with my geo-dog on Monday, but was unable to stay long enough to solve the puzzle for the final. Once I got home and tried again, I got it right away, lol. Go figure. Anyway, Kerewin0430 started the hunt earlier today and the geo-dog & I came back to join her at the 5th stage, where I returned my pieces and she solved the puzzle too. We headed to the final. Boy, that was hard! After a couple of hints, Kerewin made the find. Most evil final hide! I thoroughly enjoyed this multi and am adding a fav point! TFTC
