The cache is not at the listed coordinates. Solve the puzzle below to get the coordinates for the cache. I love word and number puzzles. This is part of a series of puzzle caches. Caution: The cache location is in a high muggle area.

GEOCACHING LOGIC PUZZLE

Five cachers (Lieutenant Dan, CPADad, PoohKitten, CacheMutts, and NutzNBoltz) met at a large caching event and became friends. They realized that they were all getting close to finding their 1000th cache, and decided to have a contest. Each cacher lives in a different state (Kansas, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Illinois), where they found their 1000th cache. Each cacher also likes different types of caches, and made sure their 1000th find was their favorite cache type.

Using the clues below, solve the logic puzzle, identifying the place in which each cacher finished, the state in which they found the cache, and what type of cache they found for their 1000th cache.

(Visit https://sites.google.com/site/geocachinglogic/ for a sample grid to help you solve the puzzle.)

When you have finished, use the solution to solve the coordinates, where First

Place = 1, Second Place = 2, etc.

N 38 AB.CDE

W 104 FG.HIJ

A = The place in which the cacher from Wisconsin finished.

B = The place in which the cacher that found the Traditional cache finished.

C = Add three to the place in which CPADad (who is not from Illinois) finished.

D = The place in which NutzNBoltz (who is from either Illinois or Wisconsin) finished.

E = Add four to the place in which CacheMutts finished.

F = The place in which the cacher from Pennsylvania finished.

G = Multiply the place in which the cacher from Kansas finished times the place in which the cacher that found the Event cache finished.

H = The place in which PoohKitten finished.

I = The place in which the cacher from Illinois finished.

J = Multiply the place in which the cacher from Colorado finished times the place in which the cacher from Kansas finished.

Clues

1. The person from Illinois came in after the person from Colorado.

2. The 5 people were the person who came in fourth, PoohKitten, the person who lives in Kansas, the person who likes Unknown caches, and the person who came in fifth.

3. Of the person from Illinois and Lieutenant Dan, one came in second and the other likes Multi caches.

4. The person whose 1000th cache was an Unknown cache came in after the person who is from Colorado.

5. The person who attended an event cache for their 1000th cache is neither PoohKitten nor CPADad.

6. The person who prefers Traditional caches is from Wisconsin.

7. The person who came in fourth is Lieutenant Dan.

8. The person who likes Multi caches came in after the cacher who likes Virtual caches.

(Note, the resemblance to the cachers in this puzzle to any real cachers is purely coincidental. At the time of the creation of this puzzle, none of the cache names was being used.)

I always like logic puzzles so this one was fun. I didn't get a unique answer using the information from the bottom, and needed to return back to the top to collect it. Zipped by for the find during a quick hour of caching this afternoon.
