UPDATE: Feb. 14, 2017. The original container was not very durable and had to be replaced several times. I built a slightly different container that hopefully will last longer. Everything else remains the same.

UPDATE June 18, 2012. The barricade keeping vehicles from driving on the railroad property has been knocked over, but the cache is still accessible. Coordinates are unchanged.

Not many trains run down the line on these tracks anymore. The line ends just west of Caņon City. This is an easy park & grab. Log only, BYOP. There is no need to go onto the bridge, beyond the No Trespassing sign, or onto the railroad tracks. Keep an eye on the kids as this street can be busy at times. There is an NGS Benchmark on the nearby railroad bridge you can log.
